Hello, my name is Jenny Wallace, and I’m a professional dog groomer and proud owner of Muddy Paws Grooming Salon. With over 25 years of experience in the grooming industry, caring for dogs has been both my passion and my lifelong calling.

At 19, I discovered my love for grooming and completed three years of professional training in Orcutt, California. Afterward, I worked at a busy salon in San Luis Obispo, where I honed my skills and learned the art of creating a calm, positive grooming experience for every pup.

In 2011, I launched Muddy Paws Mobile Grooming in the Five Cities area. I loved being a mobile groomer, but I always dreamed of owning my own salon. In October 2023, that dream became a reality when my husband and I opened Muddy Paws Grooming Salon.

Even after 25 years, I still love what I do—helping dogs look and feel their best. When I’m not grooming, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors with my husband and our son.

Growing up, my house was like a zoo. When I look back on my childhood, I am met with memories of caring for and playing with cats, dogs, bunnies, rats, snakes, and a variety of other critters. Safe to say, I was an animal lover, but I wouldn't discover just how fulfilling it could be to help someone else care for their pets until my first job at a pet shop. Using my experience to help guide pet parents in keeping their four-legged family members happy and healthy gave me a sense of accomplishment that would inform the work I would take from there. Now, after nearly a decade split up between pet shops, grooming salons, and teaching dog training, I'm still proud to be helping others care for their pets. Outside of my work with Muddy Paws, I like to keep my mind and body active, either going out for a jog or playing D&D with my friends. At some point, I plan on going back to school to study animal behavior, but for now, I'm happy to be a part of the Muddy Paws team.

Hello, my name is Briana, and I am 25 years old. I have worked with dogs my most of my life, starting when I0 years old! I love the satisfaction of transforming a dog’s appearance, improving their well-being, and making them feel and look their best. It’s rewarding to provide hands-on care for dogs, build trust with them, and witness the joy and relief they experience after a bath or groom — often expressed with a happy tail wag. I’m also a mom to a crazy toddler, which is similar to bathing wild pups — chaotic, unpredictable, and occasionally hilarious! In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with family and taking my pups out for a walk or a run on the beach. I am very passionate, easygoing, and love my job and family. 😊
